Cleaning the Fuel Tanks
We purchased Gypsy Wind in Ft. Lauderdale and sailed her around to Madeira Beach from there.  During that voyage home, we learned quickly how critical clean fuel can be.  Although we already know this, the tiniest particles can clog the lines, or t-valves, or fuel filter, and essentially causes the engine to run out of fuel.  Harry was cleaning and bleeding the lines about every hour...not fun.  So, prior to us leaving the docks and heading south, we made sure we wouldn't run into those issues again.

Yep - they needed it.  Those tiny little particles can wreak havoc!

This thing is so good it pulled a small piece of chain up from the bottom of the tank.  There's nothing
left to cause us trouble!
